The faster you're moving, the more you're in fear.
The more you're in fear, the more you're only thinking about yourself.
The more you're only thinking about yourself, the less kindness and compassion you're feeling for others.
Our culture and communities support bigger, better, faster, more above all else, including kindness and compassion. Our fears rooted in some form of not-enoughness compel us to either think or move (or both) at breakneck speed as a way to support our identities and feel safe in those known narratives.
In this soul circle we unpack this quote, look at how we might be participating and discuss some actionable stems we can take to slow down, study ourselves, think of each other and have more kindness and compassion for each other.
