In this solar Vinyasa practice, I focused on poses that support determination as well as opportunities to explore cognitive distortions arising.
This month we continue Making Friends With Our Minds by identifying, naming and then confronting MAYA, the veil of illusion, often in the form of the cognitive distortions we explored in this month's Satsang. In the practice, I reminded us that as it is in the microcosm (in this practice, on your little mat) so it is in the macrocosm (in your life, in this big universe). So what we experience and practice in these times together is training us up for life. It's not called Yoga Escape - it's called Yoga Practice! So we focused on harnessing any rebellious spirit we may identify with to turn it towards MAYA, with determination!
